Frequently Asked Questions

To book an appointment, please fill out the form located under the contact page.
You can also give me a call or text (587) 879-9151.
Please allow 1-2 business days for a reply or phone call. I will try my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please note, if one of your toes or part of your foot has an infection (red, swollen, puss), I will not be able to perform foot care on you. Please go to your doctor to treat the infection first.

  • Do not soak your feet.
  • Remove nail polish from your toenails.
  • Please provide a towel that I can place under your feet.
  • Find a comfy chair to sit on in a room that has good lighting.

For your initial assessment, please provide a list of your medications and bring your current/most worn shoes.

Your first appointment will take approximately 1hr 15min – 1hr 30min. The initial assessment (first appointment) takes longer due to paper work that needs to be filled out such as Medical History, Contact Information and signing consent forms. For your first appointment it is crucial that I do a lower leg assessment. I will not provide care without this (simply for the fact that it is not safe to proceed without it – it tells me a lot about your feet). Basic and advanced foot care is provided with your first appointment and the most urgent foot concerns will be addressed as time is limited.

Your second appointment (follow up) will take approximately 30min- 1hr. This takes less time because we have done most of the necessary paper work and assessments last time. This appointment is for follow up foot care. Whatever new foot concerns you have I will be able to address, file down long nails, etc. This appointment is usually booked 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment.

I am using sterile single-use tools. Once I am done taking care of your feet, these tools will be thrown out and placed into a sharps container for proper disposal.

No, I do not do direct billing. Please talk to your insurance provider prior to making an appointment with me.

No. I do not apply nail polish at the end of the appointment. I provide medical foot care only.

Yes, I can still provide foot care.

In the meantime, I suggest that you talk to your doctor and get a treatment plan started.

Please note, I do not treat the actual fungal infection.

Unfortunately, no. I won’t be able to provide you with foot care if one of your toes/ part of your foot has an active infection (warm, red, swollen, puss). Please go to your doctor and get the infection treated. Once it is all gone, feel free to contact me.

Please note, I do not accept clients living outside of Edmonton at this time.
